"I just purchased your product and I wanted to let you know what agreat invention! We have been looking at ramps etc but all are too big to store on the boat or too cumbersome. Loadapup does exactly what you say it does, it is sturdy and stores away easly. Our dog is having great fun getting in and out ofthe boat, thanks!"
BoatingDog.Com "I want to share my experience with a new dog ramp we recently purchased. I have tried just about every ramp on the market and spent upwards of $800 trying to find the right one. Well, $120 later, I finally found one that works (for me). It is made of aircraft aluminum (weighs only 7 lbs) and does not take up valuable storage space. We have two dogs; one is 125lbs and the other 22lbs. The little one can get on and off the boat with no assistance and the big one only needs a little push (he has hip problems). My buddies golden retriever uses it all day long without any assistance and is probably close to 100lbs so it really depends on the dog I guess. The ramp is all metal so I took the liberty of installing some Seadek on the top side so the dogs get a better grip. A word of caution with this ramp: do not use on the bottom rung of your swim latter if your dog is on the heavier side (it can bend the ladder). Luckily for me, my platform sits low to the water so I can hang the ramp on the sturdiest part of the ladder (top) while others with high platforms will need to move the ramp down to the second or third rung. If you want to check it out, the ramp is called "load-a-pup" J Bacchi |
